Hi, my name is Zul Ahmed. My aim for myself and everyone is to be able to move the way they want to. Whether it be your sport, training, hobbies or work, if there is a physical component or a limitation, I want to help you overcome any obstacle and help you be the best at what you do. I personally like to understand individual lifestyles and goals before l approach to my diagnosis and treatment. I've completed my Bachelors of Applied Sciences (Physiotherapy) at University of Sydney. I personally enjoy weight training, previously involved in powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, bouldering, tennis and cricket.
The Muscle Medic journey started out of a necessity to deliver services to individuals who were severely injured and unable to make it to a clinic or individuals who had lifestyles too busy to be have time to seek help. A large part of muscle medic is to also help athletes or people looking to improve fitness but are struggling due to pain, injuries or limitations which they are unable to overcome. Our affiliations with personal trainers and gyms across Sydney allow us to closely coordinate the health of many individuals so they can back on track to achieving their fitness and performance goals.
Areas we treat include but are not limited to: Lower back pain (including sciatica and disc injuries), Neck pain and stiffness, Shoulder pain and dysfunction, Elbow and wrist pain, Hip and knee pain and injuries, Ankle sprains. Our treatments aim to Improve movement quality, Improve range of motion, Improve strength and coordination, Correct muscle and control imbalances, prevent re-injury, educate about mechanisms of the body and techniques for self help. Our methods include manual therapy, dry needling, muscle release techniques, corrective taping, corrective movement education and exercise prescription
